Rice Bran That Is Not Simply Thrown Away

Rice bran has long been an important part of everyday life in Japan.
It has been used for nukazuke pickles, cleaning, fertilizer, and soil care.
More than just something related to food, rice bran has been used in many ways to support and care for daily life.
At KOH Fermentation Retreat, the rice bran we use does not simply end its role after warming the body in an enzyme bath.
A rice bran enzyme bath is a bathing experience in which the body is surrounded by the natural warmth created through the fermentation of rice bran.
This warmth gently embraces the body, while also allowing us to feel the quiet strength of rice bran itself.
For KOH, rice bran is not just a material used for bathing.
It is something we receive from nature, use with care, and try to make the most of until the very end.
We believe this way of thinking is also part of the fermentation retreat experience that makes KOH what it is.
Rice bran that is not simply thrown away.
This is not about making a grand statement.
It is a small, steady practice that we hope to continue naturally, day by day, as part of KOH.
